XMTP encrypted chat for P2P trades
After escrow locks, buyers and sellers coordinate on XMTP — end-to-end encrypted messaging, not stored on p2pzero servers.
Once both parties have locked funds in escrow, p2pzero opens a private chat powered by XMTP.
Why XMTP
- Messages encrypt between wallets — we do not host chat text
- Share photos, video, or meetup details after funds are secured
- ARBITER can be requested for disputes; chat stays encrypted on the XMTP network
Not a Telegram replacement for strangers
Escrow locks first, then chat. That ordering reduces empty promises and scam DMs common in unescrowed P2P groups.
